The mid 2000’s were an interesting time for a young Caleb. I fell in love with Pro Wrestling & Butt Rock. Overtime I got my head on straight & found some better music to listen to. However the Charles Dickens -esque story telling of Chad Kroger or the Shakespere like love songs of Theory of Deadman had embedded themselves into my memory banks. Now look, obviously this type of Rock music is ridiculous but as I grow older, I have started to have an appreciation for the silly things life has to offer. I mentioned my love of Pro Wrestling earlier & I still love it today. Part of that joy I find is in it’s silliness. I have had this playlist we’ve made on a little bit over the last week & it’s fun. But I do need a break after about 5 songs. The whole point of celebrating Butt Rock on this podcast is because at the end of the day, these songs all rip. They’re fun & it’s fun to sing a long with the absolute asinine lyrics of Crazy B*tch or stick your jaw out for Cumbersome. Embrace the silliness in life, we aren’t here long enough to be cool.
